I have recently remembered that Barry Manilow, who is one of my favorite singers, is the happy owner of two beagles! I would like to know how many (intelligent) celebrities own beagles?

I am back to blogging. Today is Tuesday, December 30th. Soon it will be 2009. I am having a massage tonight, the first one of my life! Hope 2009 is a prosperous, happy and healthy year for everyone!

keeping warm...

it is bitter, arctic cold out today, how does anyone out there keep warm? a mug of hot tea or hot cocoa and a fleece lap blanket? a toasty fire in the fireplace? long johns?

oh gosh, here i am blogging, so that i can post comments to dan and sarah on their blogs. i'm somewhat at a loss for what to say... i guess i'll just say that the adorable baby in the picture is my granddaughter, ruby lou, and she turns one on october 5th! meema loves ruby!
